The analogue process of needle sound recording and that of the Nipkow scanning television disc are two of the most ingenious ideas of the 19th century.

The Light illusion Machine combines this spectacular ideas to be the ultimate mechanical television record maker.

It is the main idea of this project to explore the unknown visual potential and aesthetic energy of this lost media from the backdrop of our modern times.
